Robin Fawcett - Driver Of The Number 62

I didn't grow up with much financially. My Mom, being a single mother did what she could to make sure I was headed in the right direction. I worked and saved up for my first dirt bike. The day after I bought it, I think I went and painted a deck so that I could afford numbers to put on it. We all knew the direction we were going from there. I started racing dirt bikes and ATVs almost immediately. I won my first  amateur  class dirt track race around 2001. And lead the amateur class the entire next season. When the season was over there was an unsanctioned gran prix race in Southern California that weekend. My Mom said she would pay for me to race that weekend. However, I had to sign up pro... Nervously, I took the deal. "I can do this" I thought. Turns out I was right. I finished third in my first ever pro race. That singular choice catapulted me into professional racing. All of a sudden I had sponsors and was being asked to race in Southern California on a consistent basis. I followed my dream and moved to San Diego and by the time I was done racing on dirt I had won multiple AMA Titles, S.C.O.R.E. Championships and  Best In The Desert Championships as well. I had earned the opportunity to work with Factory Teams to not only race, to also do research and development on products.
